Often times it is not necessary to create a custom map from "scratch." but more efficient to customize an existing Kroll Map.  In this case an organization need to demonstrate a running/walking route in the Bellevue - Issaquah area complete with rest stops and other relevant information.  Our street map base offered a traditional view that was muted back to allow for more emphasis on the custom layers.  The fact that this map also show a detailed street base as a backdrop aided tremendously in the planning and implementation of this event.

This map of South King County was created to emphasize the route and stops for a group of real estate professionals, many from outside the Seattle area.  A focus on the route and the pre-determined stops was the focus of this custom map graphic.  Kroll was given the instructions to limit the extraneous information on this map, and to provide this as a map file to print and download.  This map communicated exactly the information that the hosts were seeking to provide to the visitors.
